[MUSIC] Nature Boy Ric Flair, Hollywood Hulk Hogan [MUSIC] Two of the biggest if not the biggest
all time names in sports entertainment.>>Flair! [INAUDIBLE]
>>Both these men are on their way to Judgement Day, but the outcome of this
match certainly could change of not the destination, but [SOUND] their
adversaries on Sunday on Pay-Per-View. And Flair, almost like running into
a brick wall against Hollywood Hulk Hogan.>>I think he thought he was gonna
catch Hogan by surprise there, but it just didn’t work. [NOISE]
>>Hogan another hard soda bomb, knocking down the owner of RAW. The man who strategically put
himself in this match, and the man who created this opportunity for
himself. [NOISE]
>>Now let me ask you something, JR.>>I mean, this is crazy. But if you were one of the all-time
greatest wrestlers ever in history, and then you are also a co-owner of the WWE,
and you had the opportunity to win the undisputed championship, wouldn’t
you give yourself that opportunity?>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Look out, look out, he’s gonna get nasty now.>>And Flair, where’s Flair going?>>What do you mean? [NOISE]
>>[INAUDIBLE] There’s no disqualification, so
it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference.>>And
Ric Charles is disarming the Nature Boy.>>[NOISE]
>>Or maybe he’s trying to do is job. Now there’s somebody around
here that has one modicum of character still left in him.>>One what?>>One iota.>>Okay, listen JR,
it’s a no disqualification.>>I know that.>>Well, that tier is legal.>>I know that.>>So why can’t he use the thing?>>I don’t give a damn
if he uses ten of them. And then he’d get ten used back on him.>>Now, Hulk has got to be very leery, cuz I don’t know how deep
this whole thing runs here.>>Well, the deck is stacked.>>Yeah, it’s stacked.
>>It’s stacked on Hulk Hogan’s side. He’s got seven,
8,000 Hulkamaniacs in his corner. [NOISE]
>>There’s a lot of->>Aah, uh-oh.>>There’s a lot of chompers in
Flair’s deck, and Hogan now.>>[NOISE]
>>Back in Flair’s face with the right hands.>>[NOISE] A punch and a slap.>>Now what?>>Hogan [INAUDIBLE] right hands,
standing down on Nature Boy Ric Flair, for the WWE undisputed title on the line.>>[INAUDIBLE]
>>[APPLAUSE]>>Flair may be the dirtiest player in the game.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>He’s certainly a long way from winning the WWE undisputed
title here tonight.>>Don’t you just appreciate the fact
that you’re getting to see legend against legend? Well, you know what? At the end of the day I might be, but the
way it came about was a little distateful.>>How else could it come about? Now [INAUDIBLE] to make this match.>>[INAUDIBLE] off at the top. Hollywood Hulk Hogan,
encouraging Flair to get up, and Flair another wants a little
assistance here, a little timeout.>>If Ric Flair never made this bet,
he would have never come about, we wouldn’t have got to see.>>Uh-oh, chop but to no avail.>>[NOISE]
>>And Flair going downstairs. Again, a No Disqualification Match, that low blow just as legal
as an overhand wrist lock.>>[NOISE]
>>But just a little more effective
than an overhand wrist lock.>>I would suggest so.>>Now, what is the referee asking Flair? Would he care? Actually, the referee can just
go on to the back, but he->>The back, the back of what? The back of the garage? The back of the car?>>Well, I guess do need the recount.>>I would suggest that might be a good
idea if the referees stick around and Ric Flair now at the low blow.>>Flair really got.>>[NOISE]
>>Co-owner, he can do it all.>>He could make himself referee.
He’s the owner, he can do whatever he wants.>>Hogan, Hogan, Hogan!>>They’re now chanting for Hogan.>>Hogan, Hogan, Hogan!>>And we see the eyes of one of
the biggest names in the history of sports entertainment, no doubt about that. Flair with that right hand, right on the bridge of the nose
of Hollywood Hulk Hogan. [SOUND]
>>[INAUDIBLE] I’ll tell you. Flair is just the best
dirtiest player in the game. I really can’t dispute that claim.>>Things that we have all seen
Flair do over the last 20 or 25 years-
>>Right, they don’t call him Slick Ric for nothing. [NOISE]
>>There’s more air out of Hollywood Hulk Hogan.>>And look at this crowd, there are almost 17,000 people
screaming like let’s go, Hogan. Well, there he goes. [INAUDIBLE]
>>Hogan tossed to the outside by Flair. Again, remember no disqualification. The WWE undisputed championship
of Hollywood Hogan’s on the line, and Hogan rocking Flair.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Hard chop by Hogan, and another one. Flair reeling now, and Flair
[INAUDIBLE] face first into the step. And Flair,
his head bouncing off the steel.>>I don’t think you can treat
the owner that way, can you? Not get away with it.>>Well, he put himself in this position. The owner might as well declare
himself the number one contender. This is what he did here tonight.>>Look out!>>[INAUDIBLE] by Hogan, the RAW owner,
Nature Boy Ric Flair, come on, come on. [SOUND]
>>And the thumb to the eye by Flair.>>That’s legal, perfectly legal,
no disqualification.>>Flair again, buying himself some time. First, it was a low blow,
now a thumb to the eye, and a kick to that braced knee,
that left knee of Hollywood Hulk Hogan. The Knife-Edge Chop takes Hogan down,
Flair looking for the cover.>>One, two!>>And got a near fall out of it.>>[NOISE]
>>Now what?>>[NOISE]
>>Ooh, that big knee.>>And Hogan I think blocked it.>>[CROSSTALK]
>>Here comes the Hogan block him and then.>>Wait a minute, you got to be kidding me,
no you talking about is up in the mood.>>Hogan using Flair’s leg
lock on the Nature Boy. And wouldn’t it be something on
Flair’s own show in the matchup if he gave up to his own hold?>>That would be a fate worse
than death for Ric Flair.>>He’ll never give up.>>Flair on the ropes, and referee
Charles Robinson has no alternative but to call for the break. Hollywood Hulk Hogan, even though it’s a no-disqualification,
Flair now on the outside.>>[NOISE]
>>Hogan with a hard right hand.>>Uh-oh.>>Catching Flair now-
>>Look out!>>From the outside back in, as Hogan
overpowering Flair in that exchange, the lateral press far leg hook,
got a near fall there by Hogan.>>It’s legend versus legend, JR. Look at that, nobody home,
no legend there.>>Hogan missing the elbow, aiming for
the challenger, for the undisputed title. [NOISE]
>>Flair with another hard chop.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Look at Flair, look at Hogan, look at Flair.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>And another hard chop, and Hogan really-
>>I think he’s having all of
those chops he wants.>>Trying to knock it out.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>He’s trying to Hulk up, that’s what he’s trying to do.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Hogan firing up here, and Flair must->>[NOISE]>>By Hogan, sending Flair for the ride, and a foot!>>[APPLAUSE]
>>The Bigfoot flip by Hogan, taking down Flair. And Hogan.>>The cameras [INAUDIBLE]!>>The hard drop, the count,
and, hey, wait a minute.>>What the hell?
>>There’s X-Pac, and X-Pac, there’s nothing the referee can do.>>No disqualification.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Wait, disqualified.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Hogan with his right hand.>>Uh-oh, my goodness,
has this picked up here.>>No disqualfication.>>The 500-pound Big Show now. And wait, there’s Bradshaw.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>What is he doing out there?>>Bradshaw piece of the Big Show.>>This is none of your business.>>Bradshaw, this does not concern you.>>Not the NWO’s business either.>>Bradshaw chasing X-Pac
right through the crowd.>>[APPLAUSE]
>>No, look at that!>>And night from Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin, no!>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Austin just the owner of RAW! And it’s a no-disqualification match! It’s as legal as hell!>>What do you mean?>>[APPLAUSE]
>>What a minute!>>[APPLAUSE]
>>They walk the line from Hogan, give it to them, will you?>>Here it is!>>[APPLAUSE]
>>Hogan with a [INAUDIBLE].>>One, two, three! [SOUND] [MUSIC]>>This is not [INAUDIBLE]
>>[INAUDIBLE] WWE Champion, Hollywood Hulk Hogan!>>Well, that damn Austin, he just gave Flair something
that Flair will never forget!>>You’re right, that damn
rattlesnake came in here stuck his nose in something that
was none of his business!>>Austin is psychotic, and
he’s [INAUDIBLE], who knows?>>The hell knows what he’s gonna do. But Flair probably had the WWE
Undisputed Championship in his grasp.>>But thanks to Bradshaw, and thanks
to the Rattlesnake, it didn’t go down.>>[APPLAUSE]
